Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1351

Kya stared with a hint of confusion in her eyes as he looked at Charlie. "Daddy? They said, I don't have a dad."

"Who said that?" Charlie asked, frowning.

"The kids all say I don't have a dad." Kya was a bit downcast.

Charlie said gently, "Well, I'll be your dad today, okay?"

Kya grinned. "I’d love that!"

Charlie reminded her, "So remember to call me dad, not Uncle Charlie."

"Got it!"

"Charlie!" Emily called out to him. "What are you trying to do?"

"Do you want Kya to be blamed?" Charlie looked at her calmly.

Emily bit her lip and said, "I don't care; Kya doesn't understand."

"I care!" Charlie declared and walked away with Kya, leaving Emily behind.

As they entered the banquet hall, Linda was frantically looking for Emily. Seeing her, she yelled, "Emily, where have you been? Elliott and the bride will be here any minute."

Charlie walked over with Kya in his arms. Linda took one look at Charlie's handsome face and elegant demeanor and was taken aback. "Who’s this?" She asked Emily.

Before Emily could reply, Kya suddenly hugged Charlie and said, "Daddy, I want some chocolate."

Everyone was stunned.

Charlie's heart skipped a beat at the word "Daddy", an indescribable emotion welling up in him.

Charlie smiled softly at Kya and said, "Okay, I'll find you some chocolate."

Everyone was surprised that Emily had such an impressive boyfriend. They all sneered and looked down on Linda.

Even if they thought Emily had messed up abroad and had a child out of wedlock, some idle chatter from others was one thing, but for Linda to say such things about Emily was simply too malicious!

Emily's face also turned cold as she looked at Linda. "What did I ever do to you that made you hate me so much?"

No wonder Charlie had stood up for her and Kya; he had overheard the gossip.

And the gossip had come from Linda!

Emily knew Linda was greedy and always compared Emily to Kenny, but this kind of backbiting was really hurtful.

Linda's face turned pale. She had wanted to reprimand Charlie since she was an elder, but his cold and arrogant aura stifled her words. Her face turned from green to red, and was unable to utter a single word.

Charlie was tall and imposing; he looked at Emily and said sarcastically, "We don't need hypocritical relatives like this in the future!"
