Charlie said with a grin, "I was supposed to have a gathering this morning, but Jonathan suddenly had something to do and didn't go, so I came back early and stopped by to check on Kya."

Estelle was a bit surprised. Jonathan was busy this morning? He had been home all morning.

She gave a slight nod, glancing around the room, "Where's Ms. Simmons?"

"She went to the grocery store."

Estelle said, "Manley and I are planning to take Kya out for dinner, do you want to come along, Charlie?"

Charlie glanced at his watch and said, "No, I need to swing by the office."

"Alright then." Estelle nodded with a smile, picking up Kya's clothes to help her put it on, saying cheerfully, "How about daddy and I take you out for a bit of fun?"

Kya seemed delighted, but her first glance was at Charlie, "Are you coming?"

Charlie was surprisingly reluctant to part with Kya.

Estelle said with a chuckle, "He's got some stuff to do, and he can't come with us."

"I see, okay!" Kya pouted at Charlie, "I'm going out with Estelle, and we'll be back soon. You wait for me!"

Charlie felt a twinge in his heart, wishing he could change his mind and go with Estelle, but he stayed rational, looking at Kya gently, "Alright, you go have fun with Estelle today, I'll come to see you tomorrow."

"Okay!" Kya nodded obediently.

After calling Ms. Simmons, they all left.

Manley's car was downstairs, Charlie watched Estelle carrying Kya into the car before he walked to his own.

Charlie, sitting in his car, didn't start it right away, but instead sent a message to Jonathan, "You know, I think I get how you feel now."

Manley sighed, and Estelle didn’t respond.

Xavier's restaurant was located at the Movie Center. It had been two years and the restaurant had gained some popularity. Business was good, with many people driving over just to eat.

When they arrived, it was past lunchtime, but there were still several tables of customers. Upon entering, they were greeted with the aroma of food.

Upon seeing the customers, Damian came over to greet them enthusiastically. But when he saw Estelle, he froze, then ran excitedly to the kitchen, "Boss, guess who's here?"

Manley walked in carrying Kya, found a table and sat down, looking around, he chuckled, "This place is nice, just a bit small. Maybe I should invest in Xavier's business and open a bigger restaurant!"

Estelle poured him a cup of tea, "Do you think Xavier is short of cash?"

Manley asked in a low voice, "Is Xavier really from the Hanson family?"
