Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 363

Over the next few days, Marjorie traveled to many places, with a different man by her side each day.

Today, she was going hiking.

Standing at the foot of the mountain and gazing at the towering peaks in the distance, she felt a sudden wave of melancholy wash over her.

She hadn't wanted to exhaust herself with a hike, but when she thought about her health, she feared she might never again have the chance to stand on a mountaintop and look down on the city.

So, she arranged to go hiking with a college student she had just met.

She hadn't been climbing for long, however, when she spotted Janina and her friends.

She watched them laughing, taking pictures, fooling around, and teasing each other.

The scene pierced her heart, and a bitter mix of jealousy and resentment grew wildly within her.

Once, she too had lived such a carefree life.

But everything had changed on that one nightmarish day.

She felt that fate was so unfair.

Why did she have to be the one to suffer?

Why did Janina get to be so happy?

Marjorie clenched her fists, her eyes brimming with hatred.

She stared at that irritating figure, her expression shifting from resentment to a wicked grin.

A sinister smile slowly formed on her lips.

A vicious plan began to take shape in her mind.

She abandoned the hike. She couldn't stand being in the same place as people she despised.

Janina and her three friends had no idea Marjorie had been there, nor did they know that Janina was now on Marjorie's blacklist.

It was the sixth day of their trip, and they had booked a flight back to Clayborne City for the next morning. After six days of fun, they still hadn't had their fill.

They bought lots of local specialties and tried all sorts of local cuisine.

The uphill and downhill trails were different, and they were on the path heading up.

Maggie glanced dismissively at Marjorie’s retreating figure. “Maybe she saw us hiking and decided to turn back.”

The others instantly understood and couldn't help but chuckle.

When you run into someone you dislike, you don’t even want to breathe the same air as them, let alone hike the same mountain.

Marjorie's behavior was perfectly understandable from that perspective.

“I feel like Marjorie is a very petty person. You two still live in the same complex, so be careful. You should warn West not to fall into her trap,” Maggie said to Janina as she continued up the trail.

Melody immediately chimed in.

“Did you guys see the person she was with? It wasn't the guy from the train, or the one we saw a few days ago. I’m starting to wonder what Marjorie does for a living.”

It wasn't surprising that Melody would say that. The three times they had seen Marjorie, she was with a different man. That, combined with her style of dress and what they’d witnessed on the train…

On the train, Janina had passed by Marjorie’s cabin and happened to see her being very intimate with a man.
