If Farley stuck around, how was she supposed to find other men?
After getting off the train, Marjorie told him a friend was picking her up at the station and waved goodbye.
Farley was disappointed but understood.
They had only known each other for less than two days.
Their intimate encounter on the train was nothing more than a one-night stand. He shouldn't get attached.
He had only lusted after her body. If he needed to satisfy his urges, he could find other women, though he probably wouldn't find another free ride like this again.
“Marjorie, I hope I’ll see you again,” Farley said, holding her hand with a look of deep affection.
Marjorie gave him a meaningful smile. “You will. We’re… fated to meet again, after all.”
Farley assumed she meant she would contact him.
He had no idea her words carried a much deeper, more sinister meaning.
They exchanged contact information.
As they parted, Marjorie secretly scribbled a note: “Welcome to the club!”
She slipped it into his pocket, gave him a seductive wink, and disappeared into the crowd.
Farley, still basking in the glow of their encounter, was completely oblivious to the nightmare that was about to unfold.
Two days later, he received a text from Marjorie.
It read:
【Welcome to the 'A' list.】 followed by a sinister smiling emoji.
Farley found the message strange but didn't think much of it.
He immediately tried to call Marjorie, only to find he’d been blocked.
He looked at the text again, slowly reading the words aloud: “Welcome to the 'A' list.”
The four words, paired with that chilling smile, felt utterly bizarre.
