"What a joke. You really think you're getting out of here?" Janina looked down on him, her gaze as cold and final as if she were looking at a dead man.

"You're going to kill me? Valerium has laws! If I go missing, The Obsidian Circle will know. They'll investigate, and you won't get away with it!"

Finch's face was a mask of fury, veins bulging on his forehead. He looked like he wanted to flay them alive.
