"Well, this is awkward."
"Oh, poor George. You better not set your expectations too high. The amount of herbs Demi and Chad picked is five times the total amount of your herbs combined."
"I mean, George probably didn't expect his opponent to be so talented."
"In before George exclaims 'Damn, she stole my spotlight!' Hahaha!"
Demi and Chad arrived amidst everyone's noisy discussions.
The others were shocked to find Demi and Chad's baskets filled to the brim.
"Hang on a second, did you two stuff the basket with weeds?" George was the first to question them.
"Of course not!" Chad refuted while sounding proud. "Ms. Demi here studied traditional medicine before, so she knew much about herbs. The two of us had a big haul!"
George was stunned.
That was impossible. Demi was only 16. Not only did she have superhuman strength, but she even knew much about herbs.
And here George was getting cocky because he and Marie had an amazing idea.
They decided to only focus on five types of herbs, which were easily recognizable and commonly found in the forest, and ignore the rest of the hundreds of herbs.
This greatly accelerated their speed, and they picked up a lot of herbs.
George thought they definitely had a chance to win, but it turned out the other way.
Aside from George, the others were equally surprised.
Especially Thomas and Ana, who were completely in awe.
How was it possible that Demi studied traditional medicine before?
She dropped out of year seven of middle school, so she was practically illiterate. Yet, how did she learn about traditional medicine?
Who taught her that? And why did she never mention it before?
