"What? Are you telling me we can't even speak freely online anymore?"
"They've already said it, the internet is not a lawless space. What are you so afraid of if you're not insulting anyone?"
BabyGoosey typed angrily, "What, so when it comes to someone like "vicious gal," I can't even say a few things?"
"User BabyGoosey has been issued a warning."
BabyGoosey immediately responded, "What? What did I say wrong? Why am I being warned?"
"Sis, you insulted someone."
BabyGoosey sent a string of gibberish, clearly venting their frustration and disbelief.
Despite the grumbling, the comment section quickly became much more civil.
Instead of referring to Demi as "vicious gal", people gradually started calling her by her actual name—Demi.
However, Demi was completely unaware of the drama in the comment section. She remained absorbed in her book, her focus unshaken.
On the other side of the screen, Benedict was watching the livestream, his expression warm and pleased.
Smiling, he nodded and said, "Mr. Higg did a great job. Ms. Demi is a hardworking and studious young lady."
Sean stood silently beside him.
If Demi knew she was being praised by Benedict, who knew how she'd react?
…
Demi had been waiting at the base of Mt. Ashridge for about ten minutes before the other guests finally arrived.
Since all the other guests were staying at the same hotel, they had traveled together as a group.
"Demi!" As soon as Maria spotted her, she rushed over, her face lighting up with excitement.
"Maria, hi everyone," Demi said as she waved and greeted Maria and the rest of the group with a warm smile.
"Hi, Demi!"
"You got here really early!"
The others returned her greeting warmly.
After the last livestream, most of them had developed a good impression of Demi, though Thomas and Ana were obvious exceptions.
