A Second Life, A New Power novel Chapter 323

"Don't even ask. You definitely missed it!" Maria and the others laughed in unison.

"I was recording a show just now and just finished," Connor explained.

"Why don't we pick a song for Connor first?" Maria suggested.

"Is that okay, Tyler?" Demi asked Tyler.

Tyler nodded magnanimously. "Sure."

It was much easier to pick a song for Connor. Demi thought for about ten seconds and came up with one.

It was a song full of ethereal charm—sometimes melodious and gentle, sometimes bold and heroic…

This song was written by Finnick O'Malley, her third senior, who was obsessed with swords. He was wholeheartedly devoted to cultivation and faced no distractions.

As soon as Demi finished singing, the five listeners applauded enthusiastically.

"That was amazing! I love it." Connor nodded.

"Demi, me, me! Something like Connor's song would be great too!" Tyler exclaimed, looking eager and excited.

Demi thought for a moment and decided to give Tyler a different type of song—one that was more passionate. It was about a young man stepping into the martial world for the first time, vowing to eliminate evil and achieve great things.

This was written by Adrian, who loved analyzing gourmet food and was a cheerful, straightforward person.

"Is this okay?" Demi asked Tyler.

Tyler widened his eyes in surprise. "Demi, this is exactly what I wanted! I was just envious of how good their songs were, but now I'm not anymore. Hehe!"

"Except for Maria's song, the other songs were written by my friends. When the time comes, just credit them," Demi said.

"Are they all written by the same friend?" Chad asked.

Demi shook her head and replied, "No. They're all from different friends."

"How are you and your friends so talented at writing songs?" Maria clamored.

Demi just smiled and remained quiet.

In fact, except for Jonathan, who specialized in music, the others hadn't written that many songs. But since they had lived for a long time, the collection added up to quite a few.

"Demi, keep singing. I want to hear more," Maria urged.
