"Then, why does Demi know how to identify poisonous berries? Aren't both of you traditional medicine doctors?" George raised his brows.
"Demi knows?" Herne was surprised.
"Maybe it's because Demi grew up in the countryside," Ana chimed in.
"I think we can eat this one on an empty stomach, and this one too. Demi talked about it last time, so I remembered it," Chad told George as he picked up two wild berries from his hand.
George ignored Herne and approached Chad instead. He held up a wild berry from his hand and showed it to Chad. "Is this it?"
Looking at them, Sam also joined in the conversation. Thomas hesitated for a moment but still joined them in the end.
"Why don't we try searching again? Maybe we can find some tools to start a fire. Finding a tent is also nice," Herne suggested.
"Why don't we go find Demi and her team?" George asked.
"Yeah, let's go find Demi. Demi is good at starting a fire," Chad echoed as his eyes lit up.
"Wouldn't it be embarrassing if we just went like that?" Herne frowned.
"Not at all." George, Chad, and Sam shook their heads in unison. "There's nothing embarrassing about admitting that Demi is better than us!"
"The program crew wouldn't allow this, would they? We're competitors after all," Ana said hesitantly, glancing at the staff.
"If you could meet up with them, we won't interfere," the staff responded with a straight face.
...
During the evening, a drizzle had started. Demi and her team had just finished their dinner at that moment. Looking at the weather, they quickly set up the tent.
Since the tree trunks they cut down were long enough, they decided to pitch the tent over the stove. When they were setting up the tent, the rain kept getting heavier. By the time they were done with it, it was already pouring.
"Hurry up, and get inside. Our clothes are soaked." Everyone laughed as they ran into the tent.
....
"Nigel, I heard you're planning a new movie," while sitting by the stove, Matt said with a smile.
They had put rocks circling the stove for them to sit on.
"Yeah, I'm still working on the script." Nigel nodded with a smile. "Good timing. I have a few things I want to consult with you."
