"I think Connor, George, and Chad are in the opposite hall. Everyone has gone there to see their idols," Ana's friend said with a frown.
She actually wanted to go as well. Even though she wasn't a fan of those celebrities, she still wanted to see them up close.
She also had a few friends and some family members who loved the A-listers. So, if she could get a selfie with those men, she would be able to show off the pictures.
She would've headed to the other party if she wasn't worried about embarrassing Ana. So, she decided to check out Demi's party when Ana's party was about to end.
Ana silently clenched her fists after hearing what was going on. She finally realized that the show's guests had already decided to go to Demi's party when they told her they were busy. She couldn't understand why that had happened at all.
She wondered how she was worse than Demi. But she figured that Demi was strong, independent, and great at making people like her. Then, she thought that Demi had purposely thrown a party in front of hers to compete with her.
Countless possibilities filled Ana's mind. Was Demi trying to show how many friends she had to humiliate Ana? Did Demi purposely tell her guests to tempt Ana's guests with the presence of Connor, George, and Chad there?
Seeing that so many people had left her party, Ana's eyes started tearing up uncontrollably.
When Michelle noticed how many people had left, she told Daniel to ask Ana what had happened.
When he approached Ana, he saw that she was about to cry. He looked at her and asked softly, "What's wrong?"
When Ana saw him, she immediately cried out loud.
"What's going on?" he asked gently with a frown while holding her shoulder.
"Everyone's gone to Demi's party!" Ana choked out. She covered her mouth with one hand and pointed at the other hall with the other.
She looked extremely pitiful, and anyone would feel heartbroken for her if they saw her like that.
When Daniel heard that, he was confused. "That's not right. Aren't they your friends?"
Seeing what was happening, the other members of the Pitt family surrounded Ana.
A group of middle-aged men and women who were talking to Stephen and Michelle came over to check out what was going on as well. Those people were close friends of the Pitt family, and they had come to show their support.
However, Ana just kept on crying and said nothing else.
The lady next to Ana knew what had happened, and she explained, "Demi has invited some celebrities, and everyone has gone there to check them out."
