Charles glanced at the desk piled with garbage, and his expression darkened immediately. It felt like the calm before the storm!
"Gerald, Joseph, was it you?" Charles frowned, his gaze sweeping over the five students who had clashed with Demi the previous day.
"No!"
"It wasn't us!"
The five of them, led by Gerald, frantically shook their heads.
"It must've been you! You were bullying her just yesterday," someone muttered under their breath.
"What's going on?" Charles furrowed his brows.
A few of his lackeys immediately stepped forward and gave him a quick rundown of what had happened the day before.
Charles' gaze swept over the five of them. "Speak! Which one of you did it? Or was it all of you together?"
"No!"
"It wasn't us!"
"We didn't do it!"
The five of them shook their heads.
"You won't talk? I better not find anything if I look into this," Charles warned, scanning the group.
The five lowered their heads in silence.
"Bring me the surveillance footage!" Charles said with a hardened expression.
One of his lackeys immediately handed him a tablet.
Charles quickly pulled up the security footage. He reasoned that whoever did this must have acted either after school yesterday or before school this morning.
He grimly reviewed yesterday's footage after school. Then, he spotted a male student covering the classroom's front and back cameras with chewing gum.
The student wore a hoodie with the hood pulled up. He also wore sunglasses and a mask, which completely covered his face.
Charles's gaze sharpened.
"Come here, all of you. Take a look. Who does this look like?" He motioned to the group of students around him.
