Victoria didn't understand what Demi meant at all. Was the latter looking down on modern medicine?
Victoria had only heard of teamwork making the dream work before and never heard of a doctor's traditional treatment being affected by modern medicine. So, Victoria couldn't help frowning.
After Demi was done reminding Felix, Seamus, and Sean, she turned around and saw Victoria. "Hello, Dr. Hoss."
She wasn't feeling awkward at all. Instead, she just greeted Victoria with a smile before leaving the hospital.
Victoria just nodded back at her with a smile and said nothing.
…
Demi didn't think Felix would accompany her all the way to the elevator. Then, he got into the elevator with her, and they came out together as well. Then, he headed to the main entrance alongside her.
"You should head back to the ward now. I know my way from here," she said while pointing at the elevator.
"I'm going to send you back to Lindton," Felix said calmly.
Hearing that, Demi felt speechless, thinking that there was no need for that at all. Then, she had a hunch and asked, "Is there something you wish to talk to me about?"
"I guess you can say that," Felix said with a smile.
Hearing that response, she was speechless once more. After all, he was being vague with his answer. She thought that a big shot like him was hard to read.
…
After Demi and Felix got inside a car, they headed toward Lindton. Although he said he had something to talk to her about, he didn't say a single word in the car. So, Demi felt a little awkward.
Suddenly, Felix finally said, "Thank you for saving Mr. West this time. From what we've heard from your grandmother, you're looking for a school, right? If you don't mind, I can take care of this for you. I can find a suitable school for you."
"There's no need for that…" She rejected his offer instinctively as she didn't want to trouble anyone else. After she said no, she suddenly remembered something. Although she didn't care about going to school, Timothy still needed a great school to study at.
With her capabilities at that moment, there was no way he would be able to study in a good school in Lynora City. So, she turned to Felix and said, "I would like to go to the best school in Lynora City with my brother."
"Sure." Felix nodded without a second thought.
"Thank you," she said while letting out a breath of relief.
