With a dark expression on his face, Stephen reminded Thomas, "Talk to her properly."
Daniel said into the phone quietly, "Mom, I don't think I can talk to her now. The livestream is still going on, and when I asked, they told me they couldn't turn it off."
Reigning in her temper, Michelle sighed before saying icily, "Bring her to a spot where the camera won't catch you."
Thomas shot a look at Demi, who wore a stony expression on her face. He whined, "I don't think she'll listen to me."
Close to losing her temper, Michelle snapped, "Just do as I say! Why are you complaining so much?"
If it wasn't for Stephen, who was sitting beside her, she would've slapped the table in anger.
Exasperated, Thomas held the phone in his hand as he made his way toward Demi. He said nonchalantly, "My mother is on the line. She wants to talk to you."
Demi gave him a side-eye before mockingly saying, "She's your mother, not mine. How is she any of my business? Why would I want to talk to her?"
The viewers poured in.
"This vicious gal is so rude!"
"What an insolent expression! Her tone is so rude too!"
"Holy shit! I have a horrifying theory in my head. What if Tommy and the vicious gal are dating? Otherwise, why would he be so desperate?"
"Let me have a guess as well! The vicious gal and Tommy are dating, but his mother doesn't approve of them. She pissed the vicious gal off, and she's calling off their relationship in a fit of anger. Thomas is trying to win her back now!"
"Stop talking nonsense! How could that vicious gal be a match for Tommy?"
Something shifted on Ana's face, and she looked at them in worry. From an outside perspective, it looked as if she was concerned about her brother.
In reality, she was worried that Demi's status in the family would change drastically because of the incident.
After all, her family felt extremely guilty about Demi and regretted the things they did to her in the past. Even if they were a little displeased with her, they would still compensate her.
Obviously, things would be different if Demi continued to set herself up and constantly push their limits.
