The truth was, Xavia had gotten thirsty in the dead of night, and she had just gotten up to get some water when she received a message from Zivon, stating, ‘Grandma’s having trouble sleeping and she’s looking for Jenna to give her a massage. Please substitute Jenna for now and in exchange, you’ll have the right to use the house.’

Though Xavia was momentarily surprised, she was happy to comply. After all, just by doing this ‘labor,’ she wouldn’t have to owe anything else to that man. There wasn’t anything dastardly about this either, and it wasn’t like Xavia was going to ignore the poor old woman in the first place.

Back to the present, upon seeing how pale the old woman was, Xavia instantly walked past the dignified man and stood by Ava’s bed as she said, “Allow me to give you a massage, Grandma…”

“I appreciate it… Speaking of which, that dress looks great on you… Be sure to swap the way you dress from time to time to keep Zivon interested, though I’m sure you already do that…” replied the old woman before turning to look at Zivon as she added, “What about you, Zivon…? Do you like this style…?”

Upon hearing that, Zivon—who had initially been paying attention to the old woman—was prompted to give Xavia a good look…

The girl was apparently wearing a sling dress—with strawberry patterns littered all over it—that revealed her slender shoulders and enticing collar bones. With clean, unpowdered cheeks and bright eyes to boot, Xavia somehow managed to nail a sexy, yet simultaneously innocent look.

Whatever the case was, Xavia could now feel the man’s burning gaze on her, and it was making her blush! The dress wasn’t even that exposing, yet she now felt like she was practically naked!

Fighting the urge to get something to wrap herself up in, Xavia quickly attempted to change the topic by saying, “…Is this strength alright, Grandma…?”

Nodding in response, Ava replied, “It’s fine. That aside, hasn’t it been ages since you two began preparing for that second child…? Is there no progress on that at all…?”

It was clear that Ava would only rest easy once she saw Zivon’s second child, and this left Xavia momentarily speechless as she thought, ‘Why are her topics of conversation getting increasingly awkward…?!’

It was at that moment when a slight chill blew into the room, instantly causing Xavia to shiver. Seeing this, Zivon then headed to the wardrobe… and shortly after, he returned with one of Ava’s scarves.

Draping it over Xavia’s shoulders, Zivon then said, “It won’t warm you for long, but it’ll do for now… Don’t wear nightwear like this next time.”
