It was at that moment when an odd shuffling could be heard right outside the door. Frowning slightly, Zivon then asked, “Who is it?”

Upon hearing that, a nervous-looking Louisa soon opened the door. Trembling with an incredulous expression on her face, Louisa whimpered, “I-It’s me, Young Master Burton…”

Though Zivon was surprised to see her there, Louisa was far too flabbergasted to even comprehend what Zivon was feeling. After all, she had no idea that Zivon and Jenna’s relationship was this bad! Eventually snapping out of it, Louisa then added, “…Um… I’m here since Lady Burton is having trouble sleeping… I came over to get Miss Jenna to give Lady Burton a massage… I didn’t mean to eavesdrop…”

“…Grandma is having trouble sleeping? Why did you wait till three in the morning to report this to me?” replied Zivon with an intimidating frown.

Watching as Zivon then walked out, Louisa quickly followed him while explaining, “W-well… Lady Burton said that the trip was already giving Miss Jenna quite a bit of trouble, so she didn’t want to further disturb her… She didn’t want to make you worry either… That aside, I hope you understand that all Lady Burton cares about is you, Young Master Burton…”

Those words were extremely burdensome to Zivon. After all, as her favorite grandson, there was no way he could do such a treacherous thing, especially since Ava’s life was soon coming to an end…

Watching as Zivon squinted at her—his eyes as dark as the void—, Louisa then sighed before adding, “Lady Burton and I watched you grow, Young Master Burton… With that said, I honestly see you as my biological grandson, and all I wish for is that you be happy in the end.
