Chapter 599 Who Could It Be?
Every time the person texted her, the number was different.
But Amelia was sure that even though the numbers kept changing, they were all from the same
person.
This wasn’t the first time that person had sent her information.
Last time, they warned her that there was a mole inside PharmaCore 01-a big one.
So, back at the hot spring resort, when she saw Esmond secretly meeting with another man, that man was definitely from PharmaCore 01.
She just wasn’t sure if that guy was the “big mole” the text mentioned or if there was someone else involved.
She had tried texting back, but never got a response.
Whenever she tried calling, it was always busy.
The person had also told her that Floyd, the Jordans’ precious child, was one of the test subjects from that mysterious lab.
Amelia already knew about Floyd, so it didn’t shock her.
But the idea that the “Sabrina” everyone knew was a fake? Mind-blowing.
“Sabrina is a fake?” Amelia whispered to herself again.
“What’s a fake?”
Jeremy walked in.
He heard Amelia talking to herself, but didn’t catch everything she said.
“That unknown number texted me again.”
Amelia had always told him about the mysterious person sending her messages, even though they didn’t know who it was.
So Jeremy knew exactly what she was talking about.
She showed him the messages she had just received,
“If this is true, the Jordans are hiding a lot of secrets.”

After reading the texts, Jeremy’s frown deepened. His expression was grim.
The Currans and the Jordans had always been close-they were practically family friends.
Maybe because he personally didn’t spend much time with the Jordans, he never noticed anything strange about them.
But now that he thought about it, maybe his father’s mysterious disappearance-and being forced to be declared dead-could be connected to the Jordans.
“Since this person is giving us leads, we should follow them. Maybe we’ll find something useful.”
Before, they didn’t have a clear direction, which was why they were stuck.
Now that someone was secretly feeding them solid info, they might actually make real
progress.
“But we don’t know who this stranger is. We can’t fully trust the information yet.”
Jeremy’s eyes sharpened, and his tone became more cautious. “Why tell us this? Are they just trying to help, or do they have another motive? Could this be an even bigger trap?”
His fingers unconsciously tapped the table, while his mind raced through different possibilities.
Amelia stayed quiet. Jeremy had a point.
That mysterious person was like a shadow, only sending random pieces of information but never showing themselves. That alone was suspicious.
“Do you think it’s someone we know, but they can’t show themselves or investigate openly?” Amelia asked, looking at Jeremy.
She knew that in complicated situations like this, Jeremy always stayed cool and saw the bigger picture.
“That’s possible,” Jeremy said, narrowing his eyes. “But who could it be?”
They couldn’t think of anyone.
Most of their close friends were already ruled out.
If it were Amelia’s mentor or Jeremy’s mother, they wouldn’t need to play these secret games.
They could’ve just told them directly.
So who else could it be?
