Jason nodded. “Yeah.”
Lilly glanced at the door. “Should I ask for two rooms instead?”
She was about to leave when Jason grabbed her arm and gently pushed her back against the wall.
“Mr. Farill… what are you doing?”
He leaned in, hand braced beside her head, and blocked her in with a crooked smile. “Aren’t we supposed to be a couple? If you go out and ask for two rooms, William will figure it out. Our cover will be blown. Do you want to get kicked out?”
Lilly shook her head right away. “No, I definitely don’t want that. But… isn’t it kind of weird for us to shower in here together?”
Jason just laughed. “What’s so weird about it? Unless… you want to shower with me?”
He really put extra emphasis on the last part. Lilly’s eyes went wide. “No way!”
Jason grinned. “Then just relax. You shower, I shower, and problem solved. Nothing weird about it, right?”
Lilly was quiet. He actually made sense. If they kept to themselves, there was nothing to be embarrassed about.
Jason glanced at her. “William’s waiting to take us out to dinner. Do you want to go first, or should I?”
“You go ahead.”
He nodded. “Alright.”
Jason straightened up, let go of her, and walked into the bathroom.
