Jessa slipped back into her room and pulled out her phone, quickly dialing Louise.
She needed to figure out a plan with Louise, or Ella was going to steal everything right before her eyes.
Louise picked up almost immediately, her voice low and tense. “Hello.”
“Louise, what are we supposed to do now? Joanna was just here, flirting with my dad like crazy. If you don’t do something soon, I swear they’re going to give me a new baby brother or sister.”
Jessa knew exactly how to push Louise’s buttons. She wanted to get a reaction out of her, and it worked.
Louise sounded even more upset. “Everything was fine until Ella showed up. Ever since she came, I feel like I’m losing control. We need to focus on getting rid of Ella first. Once she’s out of the picture, Moss will come back to me.”
That was exactly what Jessa wanted to hear. “You’re right, Louise. We need to deal with Ella now.”
Louise let out a sharp laugh. “Don’t worry, I already have a plan for her.”
Jessa grinned. “Alright, Louise. I’m counting on you.”
…
At the Harmon estate, David was in his study when Aiden knocked on the door.
“Come in,” David called.
Aiden stepped inside. “Sir, we’ve got news about Ms. Irvine and Wyatt.”
Ever since Mrs. Harmon had told him that Ella and Wyatt were never married, David had people looking into it. Finally, there was an answer.
David leaned forward. “Well? Tell me.”
“We checked thoroughly. Ms. Irvine is still single. She and Wyatt never got married.”
