David’s kisses came fast and desperate, landing on Ella’s cheeks, getting tangled in her hair. “Ella, stop fighting me. Look at yourself. You’re acting like you don’t want this, but I know you do.”
She shook her head, her voice trembling. “I don’t!”
He leaned in, his voice low. “Come on, Ella. Don’t struggle. Tonight, you’re mine.”
David yanked open her shirt, pinning her wrists above her head, holding her down as he took control.
Ella’s brows drew together, her face tense. She bit down hard on David’s shoulder.
Jerk, she thought.
David jerked from the pain. It hurt, really hurt, but somehow that pain only fueled him. Every nerve in his body was on fire and the pleasure was almost too much.
Tears welled up in Ella’s eyes. She never thought she’d end up in bed with David again. She wanted to resist, she really did, but her body had already betrayed her.
David kissed her cheeks, tasting her tears. He gently cupped her face in his hands. “Why are you crying, Ella?”
Tears clung to her lashes as she glared at him. “You’re such a jerk, David.”
He kissed her again, softer this time. “Yeah, I am. But don’t cry, Ella.”
She bit out, “I’m married to Wyatt. I’m his wife. So what does that make youa?”
At Wyatt’s name, jealousy flashed in David’s eyes. “Does Wyatt even know his wife is cheating on him? He’s had a beautiful wife all this time and still couldn’t touch you. A beauty like you, left alone, is just waiting for someone else to take. And I’ve wanted you for so long.”
Ella couldn’t believe he actually said that. She bit him again, even harder.
