The Genius Ex-Wife’s Revenge Portfolio novel Chapter 671

Lola barely had time to react before two men in black yanked her away. They held her tight, dragging her off.

“Grandma, help me!” Lola shouted, her voice echoing through the chaos.

Mrs. Harmon gripped the arms of her wheelchair, her face fierce. “Let Lola go!” she cried.

With a sudden burst of energy, she pushed herself up, standing on her own. She rushed toward the men, trying to pull Lola free.

Lola’s eyes went huge with disbelief. “You’re standing! You can walk now!”

Mrs. Harmon froze for a second, realization dawning. In all the panic, she hadn’t even noticed she’d gotten to her feet. Somehow, her legs worked.

One of the men shot her a dark look. “Old lady, you ask for this. Come with us.” Without another word, both men grabbed Mrs. Harmon too, shoving her and Lola into the back of a black van. The doors slammed shut and the van tore off down the street.

Back at the airport, Ella burst out of the terminal, breathless and frantic. “Lola? Lola, where are you?”

Her eyes darted around until she spotted someone sprawled on the ground. It was Mrs. Harmon’s maid.

Ella rushed over, kneeling beside the maid and working quickly to revive her.

The maid’s eyes fluttered open. She blinked, confused, then gasped, “Ma’am! Ms. Irvine, what are you doing here?”

“I brought Lola to the airport, but she was taken. Did you see anything?” Ella’s words tumbled out, desperate.

“I saw Lola just now!” the maid cried.

“What? Where is she?” Ella pressed.
