Claudia continued, "Your grandson is the man he is today in no small part thanks to you and President Ferguson. You truly did an excellent job raising him. He perfectly embodies the spirit of a businessman, always putting profit first. How could a selfish and cold-hearted man like him ever allow anything to happen to himself?"

Old Mr. Ferguson's face darkened. "You've worked so hard for nothing more than fame and fortune. With fifteen percent of Ferguson Group in your hands, the Watkins family could become one of the most powerful and influential families in Capital City overnight. You might want to reconsider."

Claudia let out a cold laugh. "Patriarch, it's true I seek fame and fortune, but there are some things I will do, and some things I won't."

She looked at the patriarch, leaned in, and said to him, word by word, "When it comes to anything related to the Ferguson family, I want to stay as far away as possible!"
