Whoa, these stats are insane!
"Amazing! She's trending!"
"She knew he had a stomach problem just by looking at his face? That's incredible!"
"The grad student was cured by her?!"
The exclamations of amazement buzzed in Anna's ears, making her head spin.
"Impossible. There's no way she can actually treat people."
Anna retorted instinctively, her face flushing. "Sir, this must be fake!"
"Are you suggesting I'm in on it with her?" Mr. Lopez was furious. This Ms. Lee, what was wrong with her!
Anna's eyes darted. "Of course not you, sir. But Rosalind has always been deceitful. She probably tricked you. Besides, even if she knows a little medicine and can treat people online, there's no way she could score that high on the placement exam!"
With that, Anna slammed the exam papers she had prepared onto the desk.
"Sir, you can look at her scores before you say another word," Anna said coldly. "I'll concede the first aid section, since you all claim she knows medicine. But let's talk about math, physics, and grammar!"
Anna spoke with conviction, flipping through the papers. "She got a perfect score on every single subject! I asked the physics teacher, Mrs. Zade. They haven't even covered the last question yet because it's too difficult. Even if Mrs. Zade had taught it, it's unlikely the students would remember how to solve it. If you don't believe me, Sir, you can ask her classmates."
A student from Class Three was there and whispered, "The physics questions were really hard this time. Especially the last one, it was a bonus question. I think only three people got it right."
With every comment, she would touch the jade, her eyes dark, a playful smile on her lips.
Anna declared righteously, "Sir, I'll say it again. You can protect this girl if you want, but the entire school knows the truth. You can't change the facts."
Mr. Lopez had heard from his grandson that Mrs. Yates Sr. had called asking for a tutor for Rosalind, but he firmly believed in Cure-Master's integrity. "Ms. Lee, suspicion requires evidence. Where is your evidence? Were the proctors that day not paying attention?"
"Sir, I was proctoring carefully!" said a dean with glasses. "To be fair, Rosalind showed no unusual behavior during the exam. She just wrote a bit fast and turned it in half an hour early. Other than that, she didn't speak a word to any other student."
As he spoke, the dean added, "Oh! Right! I remember she had a cut on her forehead that day, it was still bleeding. I was worried and wanted to send her to the nurse's office, but she refused."
That was days ago. He had no idea her placement scores were so high!
