Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 163

“The Turner Group is very interested in Mr. Bright’s project.” Warner rose from his seat, his handsome face looking ascetic and refined. “Mr. Bright, you can inform your people to proceed with the partnership contract.”

Fitch was bewildered. “This… I…” Had he even said anything?

He had secured the investment just like that? What was the difference between this and a pie falling from the sky!

No, there was a difference. A pie could be a trap, but the Turner Group was real money!

The others were even more confused than he was. The medical livestreaming sector? What was that?

As the Guild of Pax investment conference concluded, only Warner knew the full story. He placed a lozenge in his mouth, biting down on it, his eyes flickering with an unreadable light.

This way, he was still a part of her funding.

David understood what his young master was thinking. “About Cure-Master…”

“Fitch will tell her,” Warner said in a low voice.

David acknowledged the order. He was about to leave when he suddenly darted back, slamming the door shut with a loud bang.

Warner raised an eyebrow at him.

David’s face was panicked. “Sir, Galeno is outside!”

“Galeno?” Warner’s tone was slow, as if he were contemplating. “What is he doing here?”

David swallowed hard, having nearly been spotted himself. “Galeno seems to have come with Fitch. Their interaction… it’s strange. They seem very familiar.”

“Familiar?” Warner’s fingers tapped his bracelet, his expression unreadable. “I see.”

It seemed her choice of investor wasn't random after all.

Just what secrets was she hiding…

“Should I wait before going out, sir…” David asked quietly.

Warner hummed in agreement, his gaze fixed on the view outside the window. On second thought, Fitch’s arrival was too coincidental…

It was as if he had come to Sol specifically for a certain someone.

Warner’s eyes instantly deepened.

Smith’s words echoed in his mind again.
