Go Back and I Rule There novel Chapter 113

The boyish, handsome face on the screen froze for a moment before letting out an arrogant scoff. Behind him was a massive study, a clear indicator of his family's wealth.

[SolSocialite: Whoa… so handsome!]

[LookingForLove: Look at me, young master!!]

Rosalind recognized the face on the screen and spoke calmly, “You’re the third son of the Lopez family? Bowen Lopez?”

[HappyLife: The streamer doesn’t sound very excited. Maybe this Mr. Lopez has the wrong idea about her?]

The young man sneered. “That's me! Let me tell you, Rosalind, don't waste your time. You're nothing compared to Yolanda. You'll never marry into the Woods family, and you'll never marry into our Lopez family either. You're not worthy!”

“Oh,” Rosalind said, her tone utterly dismissive.

The young man's mouth fell open, his face turning red. “You’d better mean that. I…”

Rosalind couldn’t be bothered to argue. “Where’s your brother?”

Bowen, as if he’d caught her in a trap, yelled over his shoulder, “See? I told you this woman was interested in you, bro! Come here! She finally admitted it!”

Theodore was already stressed out because he hadn't been able to reach his boss lately.

He initially ignored his brother's shouting, but then he saw the screen on the phone.

He froze, completely stunned. “Ms. Martinez?”

For some reason, Theodore found himself speaking her name with a newfound respect. Back at the manor, he had casually called her by her first name, but now, he couldn't explain the intimidating aura she projected, an aura that sent a chill down his spine every time.

Rosalind hummed in acknowledgment, a playful glint in her eyes. “Your brother says I'm interested in you and want to marry you.”

Theodore’s eyes flew open. “How could he say something so stupid!”

Smack!

His hand moved faster than his words, landing squarely on the back of Bowen’s head.

Mr. Lopez, his hair already white, had to discipline the brat himself. He almost pulled a muscle as he lifted his leg. “Get out of my sight! What have you been learning out there? You have no manners!”

Bowen was still defiant, pointing at Rosalind. “Her? A medical genius? Grandpa, do you know she was the lowest-ranking student at your school?!”

Thump!

Mr. Lopez smacked him on the back of the head again. “Apologize to her!”

Bowen pouted, unconvinced. “Sorry.”

Rosalind paid it no mind, merely raising an eyebrow.

Mr. Lopez beamed sheepishly at the camera. “Rosalind, my dear, this boy has always had a foul mouth. Don’t mind him. I will cancel his credit cards in a bit… wait, what is this?”

Rosalind hadn’t expected this family drama to unfold. For a rare moment, she hesitated before saying, “Dean, I’m live streaming.”

“Live streaming, eh? You young people are full of ideas. Medical knowledge certainly needs to be more widespread these days. It would be best if everyone understood first aid… wait a minute.” Mr. Lopez froze. “You mean… the audience can see me?”
