Lillian glanced at Bella. She had heard Bella wouldn't be home for dinner, but surprisingly, she had returned.

From the looks of it, she had already eaten.

Lillian didn't say anything, but Sabrina was pleased and greeted her warmly. "Bella, you're not late at all. We're still having dinner. Your extra dishes are right on time. Quick, have the maids take them to the kitchen to prepare and bring them out."

Sabrina wanted everyone to see how magnanimous her daughter was.

Lillian replied, "I did eat a lot tonight. A few of the dishes were ones that Grandmother taught the kitchen staff to make when she was still at home. They still taste just like her cooking, and I really like them."

Lillian did enjoy them, but that wasn't the main point.

Brandon continued, "It's fine. When you're not well, it's good to eat more to get nutrients so your body can stay strong. The dishes Bella brought will be out soon. You should try some, Lillian."

Lillian said, "As for the restaurants in Northwyn, I tried all the new ones with Sebastian years ago. They're not as good as the old ones. But I'd already tried all the famous old restaurants by the time I was a child.

After all this time, nothing compares to my grandmother's and mother's cooking.
