Natalie suddenly felt like the clear sky outside had turned dark again.
“Wait, wait, don’t… don’t say any more.”
Natalie was speechless. How could she have done something like that to someone who couldn’t even fight back?
“I assume you’ll… take responsibility for me, right?”
Terence’s voice was smooth and coaxing, with a hint of allure.
Natalie looked up at him. Was he serious?
“Re… responsibility?”
She felt like she hadn’t been able to form a coherent sentence since she woke up.
“Are you looking down on me because I’m a cripple? But you seemed quite enthusiastic last night, quite happy.”
Natalie felt like she’d been hit by another ten-thousand-ton truck.
She really didn’t want to believe she had done that to Terence.
But she was naked.
And Terence’s words were starting to jog some fragmented memories.
In those fragments, she saw herself clinging to him, nuzzling him relentlessly, like a cat in heat.
Useless brain. It would have been better not to remember.
“Natalie, why aren’t you saying anything? If you really look down on me because I’m disabled and can’t give you the happiness you want, let’s just forget what happened last night. We can pretend it never happened.”
As Terence spoke, his eyes shimmered, making him look both innocent and pitiful.
Natalie wanted to bury herself under the covers. Damn it all, not only had she failed to heal his leg, but she had taken advantage of his condition to do… that.
Had she become some kind of unethical doctor?
If word of this got out, people might think she had intentionally failed to cure his leg just so she could bully him like this.
After all, with his immobility, he was the one with no ability to resist.
Just then, a knocking sound came from the door.
“Natalie, are you up yet?”
