She was so afraid of anyone finding out her secret, especially the man himself.
After she spoke, she couldn’t even bring herself to look at Terence. Her mind was a whirlwind of anxiety.
She could feel him moving closer, and her nerves tightened even more.
Why wasn’t he answering her question? Why was he getting closer? What was he planning to do?
Just as every pore in her body tensed up, she heard Terence’s magnetic voice.
“I didn’t just get here this morning. The truth is… I never left.”
Terence’s words made Natalie, who hadn’t dared to look at him, snap her head in his direction.
He watched as her eyes widened in shock, her expression one of utter disbelief.
“Wha… what?” she stammered, seriously doubting her hearing.
Terence said he never left? She must have misheard him.
This was too awkward!
Having an erotic dream at night, and now having wild thoughts and hearing things during the day. Her body was really conspiring to humiliate her!
“I said… I never left. I slept in this bed last night.”
Terence’s words hit her mind like a tactical missile, exploding into a million pieces.
“What? How is that possible?”
Like a startled rabbit, Natalie shot up in bed.
The moment the blanket slipped, she realized she wasn't wearing any clothes.
Damn it!
She quickly grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around herself. “What happened? Why… why am I… and you… you…”
Natalie was trying to ask why she was naked and why Terence was in her room.
She tried to brush it off, but Terence replied seriously, “I’m not joking. You wouldn’t let go of my hand, and then you pulled me onto the bed and treated me like your stuffed animal. One arm was around my neck, and your leg was thrown over my…”
Natalie’s eyes grew wider with every word Terence spoke.
The worst part about being drunk is having someone jog your memory!
She couldn’t listen to another word.
“No… that’s not… I… Did I really do that?”
Once again, she pleaded with her useless brain to remember something.
Terence looked at her, his deep eyes suddenly filled with a hint of grievance.
“You hugged me and kissed me. You took pity on a disabled man. I really didn’t want to take advantage of you, but I couldn’t get away. This leg of mine can’t move.”
So… she had been the one to have her way with Terence!
