Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 582

Natalie’s arms were draped around Terence’s neck. His scent made her feel safe, and she burrowed deeper into his embrace.

Terence was starting to regret not drinking more. He was supposed to get drunk and give her an opportunity, but here he was, perfectly sober. It wouldn’t be right to take advantage of her.

Should he get up and down a few more bottles? But if he stood up and she saw him, his secret would be out.

Terence was worried that Natalie would leave the Lockwood estate the moment she knew his legs were healed.

So, it wasn't worth the risk. He would just have to lie still.

Terence thought he could manage by just lying there and thinking pure thoughts, but then Natalie, with one arm around his neck, draped her other leg over his waist.

It was only when he saw the stuffed animal on her bed that Terence realized she had mistaken him for it.

The position must have been comfortable for her, but for Terence, being the stuffed animal was anything but.

“So soft, so comfortable.”

For some reason, hearing those words right now annoyed him greatly.

Natalie rubbed her cheek against his, a soft, ticklish sensation like a kitten nuzzling a person’s palm.

“Be good. Don’t move.”

Terence was using every ounce of his self-control. He wasn’t drunk, so he could restrain himself. He didn’t want to hurt her, and he didn’t want her to regret this later.

“But this is so comfortable.”

Natalie continued to rub her face against his. Terence had been keeping his head turned to the side, but he couldn’t take it anymore. He turned his face toward her. Now they were face to face, inches apart.

It was then that Natalie realized he wasn't the stuffed animal from her bed.

The shock sobered her up a bit.

“Why… why is it you?”

Just as she tried to pull away, Terence held her down.

“You think you can just leave now?”

Before Natalie could speak, Terence’s lips met hers in a searing kiss.

Memories of last night’s intimacy suddenly flooded her barely awake mind.

A wave of shyness washed over her. What was she thinking?

How could she have had such a spicy, erotic dream?

This was beyond embarrassing.

What would she do if she ran into Terence later? How mortifying would it be if he knew she had dreamed about him like that? It would be a complete social nightmare.

Thankfully, no one knew. Just as Natalie breathed a sigh of relief, she heard a familiar voice.

“You’re awake?”

Natalie jumped, startled. She looked over and saw it was indeed Terence.

She stammered, “Mr. Lockwood, what are you doing in my room so early? Is something wrong?”

Natalie was flustered and guilt-ridden, having just had a very vivid dream starring the two of them.
