Caught Him Cheating My Life Restarted (Natalie) novel Chapter 469

One of the asset collectors said, “Your son didn’t answer your call, old woman. I’d guess he’s surrounded by creditors right now. You might as well stop trying. He’s too busy to pick up.”

“Nonsense! How could my son be surrounded by creditors? You’re lying!”

“The company’s bankrupt. Of course he’s surrounded by creditors. If you don’t believe me, keep calling. But if you’re going to be on the phone, you’ll have to do it outside. You can’t stay in this house any longer. And you can’t take a single thing with you. You two, get this old woman out of here!”

Two of his men immediately lifted Victoria’s wheelchair and began carrying it outside.

Victoria couldn’t believe it. She had just gotten her hands on Marie’s jewels, and before she could even try one on, she was being thrown out of her own home.

“Put me down! Let go of me! I’m calling the police! This is breaking and entering!”

“Quit your yelling, old woman. We’re a legitimate repossession agency. This house and everything in it were mortgaged to us. Now that you’ve defaulted and declared bankruptcy, we’re collecting what’s ours through proper channels. You should try contacting your son instead of getting in our way.”

The two men carried Victoria outside and dropped her there like a bag of trash.

As they turned to go back inside, they heard Victoria screaming behind them.

“This is my house! Everything in there is mine! You can’t take it!”

Victoria tried to rush back into the house, but the two men quickly blocked her path.

“You old hag, didn’t you hear what we said? This house and everything in it belong to us! What are you still making a fuss for?”

“Get out of my way! Get out of my way! This is my home!”

Victoria tried to force her way past them, but the two men stood like guards at a gate, refusing to let her in.
