The Lockwood Group
"Mr. Lockwood, the Cross Group officially declared bankruptcy today. They've already started liquidating assets."
Terence was looking over a document and didn't even glance up.
"So soon? Did Darren just give up without a fight?"
The Cross Group's collapse was faster than he had anticipated.
After all, he hadn't even started his own revenge yet. He originally thought Darren had some fight left in him and could hold out for a few more days. It seemed he'd overestimated the man.
"It was the young master who made the move."
Hearing Philip's words, Terence finally put down the file.
He looked at Philip and asked, "Why would he suddenly target the Cross Group?"
"I don't know the specific reason yet, but it was definitely him. He was at his preschool at the time."
"I see."
Terence had been planning to toy with Darren like a cat with a mouse. He would have been annoyed if someone else had finished the job, but he didn't mind if it was a member of the Lockwood family.
That little brat was actually thinking of sticking up for his old man.
The Cross Group was already a sinking ship, but for his son to be able to deliver the final blow showed he had grown.
The kid deserved some praise.

Natalie heard the news about the Cross Group's bankruptcy while she was at the research institute.
"Did you hear? The Cross Group declared bankruptcy. I heard they even repossessed their house."
"I just saw a video someone posted of Victoria being thrown out, screaming and yelling in front of the villa."
"Goes to show, bad news travels fast."
"It's what they deserve. They shouldn't have framed Terence."
