Abandoned by All I Took It All Back novel Chapter 339

Janina refused to just wait for death.

Her life had just begun.

She had a family and friends who loved her, and two newborn children.

She couldn't just give up.

Her eyes scanned the room and landed on a dilapidated table lamp with a frayed, exposed wire.

A daring idea sparked in her mind.

She deliberately raised her voice, her tone defiant.

"You think you've thought of everything? Don't forget, if I go missing, my family and friends will call the police. They won't just let this go."

"Shut your mouth!" John, enraged by her words, grabbed a nearby rag to stuff in her mouth.

As he lunged toward her, Janina suddenly threw herself sideways, crashing into the table lamp.

With a loud crack, the lamp toppled over.

The exposed wire hit the floor, and the room's lights flickered out, plunging them into total darkness.

"Damn it! What are you doing?" John and Dylan yelled in a panic.

Janina didn't answer. She scrambled toward the door, her heart hammering against her ribs.

The desperate urge to survive propelled her forward, not daring to hesitate for even a second.

"Don't let her get away! Grab her!" John shouted.

In the darkness, all she could hear were their frantic footsteps and curses.

"Don't worry, boss," Dylan's voice echoed eerily.

"She can't escape. A little cat-and-mouse makes it more fun, anyway."

If she had the strength, Janina would have thrown both of them into the blender.

Suddenly, a blinding beam of light cut through the darkness.
