Chapter 189
Chapter 189
Daniella said, “I lied because you people already had her, but still insisted on bringing me back.”
She looked at Abigail with hatred and continued. “You think just because they accepted you, you’ll have a good life now? The Gibson family treats all their daughters like tools. Right now they’re defending you only because you have a good relationship with Sebastian.”
“Cut the crap. I treated her like a real sister. I used to treat you like a sister too. You’re the one who didn’t value our bond, always using me. And now you’re saying it’s our fault? Stephen truly couldn’t stand it anymore.
Back when he used to protect her, he never realized how disgusting Daniella really was. She always played the victim, pushing all the blame for forcing Abigail to take the fall onto others.
“I said—ah!” Before Daniella could finish, Gabriel whipped her hard with the belt.
He lashed out at Daniella with brutal force. Daniella screamed and curled up in pain.
Christian tried to stop Gabriel, but Stephen kicked him away and said coldly, “If you really want what’s best for her, then sit down and stay put.”
Daniella collapsed to the floor, trembling in pain.
Gabriel tossed the belt aside and asked coldly, “Where did all the money go?”
“I spent it.” Daniella lay on the floor and said weakly. She was secretly relieved that she had made sure to blow through the money right after Abigail
came back.
Christian glared at Abigail with a pitiful look in his eyes. “Are you happy now?”
“I wasn’t the one who hit her. If you’re blind, go see a doctor.” Abigail shot back without mercy.
Seeing he was about to speak again, Abigail sneered, “You’re the one who gave her all that money. Now you can’t clean up the mess and she can’t explain where the money went, so she got beaten. And you’re blaming me?”
Christian was stunned.
“Did I tell you to give her that much money?” Abigail pressed further.
Christian couldn’t get a single word out.
“You’re just like your father. Always trying to shirk responsibility. Something goes wrong and suddenly it’s everyone else’s fault. Daniella got beaten, and you’re all to blame.” Abigail spared no one.
Gabriel, seeing her close relationship with Sebastian, didn’t dare argue and simply stayed quiet with a darkened expression.
Wyatt let out a long sigh and said, “Gabriel is my only son. I didn’t raise him right. It’s my fault that these bad habits were passed down to his son.”
Abigail hadn’t meant to criticize Wyatt, but hearing this, she actually felt like he made some sense.
Christian silently helped Daniella up. At this moment, Gabriel said, “Move her things to the servants‘ quarters. No matter what the DNA results say, she’s not allowed back in her old room.”
He said, “The Gibson family gave her millions in pocket money every year, and she still acts like she’s the victim–utterly ridiculous.”
Daniella looked at Gabriel in disbelief. She wanted to plead with him, but she knew, with his temperament, there was no way he’d go easy on her.
Her fate now mirrored what Abigail suffered back then. If they hadn’t been so cruel back then, they wouldn’t have let Abigail take the fall for her.
“Gabriel,” Bianca tried to plead. “You’ve already hit her–”
