As Xavia continued wondering, Zivon himself received several other phone calls… and soon enough, almost fifteen minutes had passed since he stepped out. Though she was only able to overhear his replies to the calls, she was soon able to tell that Zivon had been desperately trying to learn more about her grandmother’s condition while also looking for ways to save her…

Zivon was trying so hard just to help her solve this issue… To think that Xavia hadn’t even considered telling him about all this in the first place… Hell, to think that she had even wondered whether to choose him or her grandmother back then! Though all this made Xavia feel guilty, it simultaneously filled her with warmth to know that he cared this much about her…

In the end, Xavia headed out with his breakfast—that was already going cold—before saying, “…Finish your meal first… You can deal with all that after breakfast.”

Turning to look at her with his gorgeous eyes, Zivon paused for a moment… before ultimately nodding in response as he followed her back to the living room…

Zivon, for one, had no idea that Jenna had offered a deal to Xavia. Likewise, Xavia had no clue that Jenna had done the same with Zivon, and Zivon wasn’t planning to tell her about it anytime soon. After all, the last thing he wanted was for her to make such a tough decision…

Fast forward to three days later, Stefan, Zivon and Keith remained vigilant in their effort to find a solution to Xavia’s issue. Unfortunately, by that point, it seemed that not even all their wealth and power could stop the ailing person from meeting her end…

Even so, the three weren’t giving up anytime soon, and this made Xavia—who was unable to do a thing—feel incredibly guilty. After all, they were all so worried about her, yet she knew that she’d ultimately be unable to repay their kindness…

Lying on her bed that night, Xavia’s eyes darkened slightly when she received a message from Jenna, stating, ‘I really can’t understand what those three great men see in you, Xavia. To think that they’d be head over heels for someone so worthless!’

In all honesty, Xavia felt that she wasn’t worth it either. However, in the end, she was prompted to reply, ‘At the very least, I don’t take advantage of people unlike a certain someone.’

Xavia knew that no matter how low she went, she’d never stoop to Jenna’s level of using lives to get what she wanted.

After giving a sneer, Jenna was prompted to text, ‘Don’t put it that way. I’m simply hoping to get something in return for doing a kind deed! You’re not expecting me to save her for free, are you?
