“Disappointed to see me? “What a despicable woman you are, Xavia. Not only are you dating Zivon behind my back, but you even booked a room for him! Don’t you think you’re a bit too shameless?” scoffed the woman before walking into the room with the grace of a peahen.

Despite how cocky her words were, Xavia was still far too stunned to register anything that she had just said. Why…? Why the hell was Jenna here?! While it was true that she knew that Jenna would one day find out about all this, why now?!

Still, she had already promised Zivon that she’d try to make things work out… With that, Xavia eventually pursed her lips before staring at Jenna as she replied, “…Sure enough, I did all that, but I-”

“But you what? Don’t tell me that you like Zivon and you want to steal him from me! Are you planning to take my place? Huh?!” interrupted Jenna as she glared daggers at the speechless Xavia.

Though Xavia wanted to refute, she simply couldn’t find the words to do so. Truth be told, even Xavia didn’t know how she had grown to be this immoral… Even so, now that she had gotten to this point, she wasn’t planning on backing out anymore…! Since she had made it this far, she may as well admit it!

With that in mind, she then looked Jenna in the eyes before calmly saying, “Indeed, I like him. Though I don’t think I’m stealing him. After all, he was never yours to begin with.”

“You…!” roared the infuriated Jenna as she leaped toward Xavia and gave her a tight slap!

“Zivon is my husband so he’s rightfully mine…! Who the hell are you to say otherwise?! You’re just a vicious woman trying to steal what doesn’t belong to you! And yet you have the nerve to justify your actions…! Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?!”

Though her cheek was burning, Xavia allowed Jenna to act as hysterically as she pleased… and once Jenna was done scowling, Xavia simply replied, “You should know for a fact that our relationship may not have ended this way had it not been for that night four years ago, Jenna. Either way, we both like each other now, so we’re going to try to make things work. Treat it as though I’m begging you, but just give me this one chance.”
