Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 786

With how badly her voice was quivering now, it was evident that she was in shock. He… actually wanted her to abort the ‘child’…?

When he saw her eyes dimming, Zivon simply didn’t have the heart to tell her that she’d never be able to conceive another child for the rest of her life.

Holding her in his arms, he then comforted in a soft voice, “…It’s… not the right time for this child, Xavia… If he’s birthed, not only will it be detrimental to your health, but it’ll also negatively affect your reputation and current situation… With that said, please don’t be saddened and be sensible about this, alright…?”

…Be sensible about this? Looking at how calmly Zivon was distinguishing between the pros and the cons, Xavia felt like he was just dealing with the situation like he was dealing with work… and it instantly made her heart go frigid as she asked, “…Not the right time? When’s the right time, then?”

Her question made the corners of Zivon’s mouth twitch. She had a blood clotting disorder, and it disallowed her from ever bearing children… Even if he wanted to have a child with her, there was no way he was going to risk her life just to attain that wish.

With that, he was prompted to reply, “…Xavia, you already have Yulia and I have Maison… There’s no need to-”

“Stop…!” interrupted Xavia who didn’t want to hear another word.

After all, she knew what he actually meant… And that was that he never wanted to bear a child with her. Since that was the case, it also meant that he had never truly thought about their future, and all that fondness he had shown her… All that wasn’t deep, unshakable love at all. He had merely been loving her just for the sake of it…

Feeling her heart throb, Xavia eventually managed to add, “…I want to be left alone for a while…”

Though her façade was calm, Zivon could tell that she was having an emotional collapse. Zivon, for one, could understand her grief. After all, there was no way he’d be able to act all indifferent with the loss of this child…

Believing that she was a strong and sensible person, Zivon then replied, “…Alright. Think carefully about it and deal with the situation as calmly as possible… I’ll leave work early and accompany you at five…”

Following that, Zivon turned to leave… and though his footsteps weren’t all that loud, they each seemed to hammer down on Xavia’s already shattered heart. It was excruciating, to say the least…
