“Zivon, do you want to know what it is?”

Zivon glared at him icily, then growled, “If you have something to say, just say it.”

“Okay, okay! Don’t look at me like that, I’ll tell you.” Zayne took a deep breath and said seriously, “I heard from one of his friends that Keith spent a lot of money to buy flowers and a heart-shaped gemstone necklace to pursue Xavia… but aren’t they already dating? Don’t you think something fishy is going on here?”

Keith was trying to pursue Xavia Lockhart? It did not make sense at all.

However, when he thought about how Xavia had acted, and how Keith had texted him asking for the house, Zivon took a sip of his wine and said casually, “That’s just his idea of romance, what’s so fishy about it?”

His attitude was just too cold.

Zayne frowned. “What’s with you? Didn’t you say that you wanted to know how you offended her? Now you don’t want to know anything about her anymore? In my opinion, it’s better you don’t worry about things like this and spend more time with the old lady instead. Today’s check-up results didn't look very promising.”

Zivon raised his eyebrows in surprise. “I thought her condition had stabilized?”

“It has, but she’s already old. The professor gave an estimate of half a year, but I think it's actually shorter than that.”

Zayne's words turned Zivon’s expression even darker.

He had grown up around his grandmother, and she had favored him a lot. Now, Zayne was telling him she only had so little time left…

“I’m going back.”

“Okay.”
