The man standing there was wearing a light-colored suit, a bouquet of flowers in his hand. His gaze was tender and affectionate.
When he saw Xavia, his lips curved into a warm smile, and he walked towards her. “What was it that you couldn’t do? Do you need my help?”
How could Xavia tell him about what happened with Zivon?
“It’s nothing, just a small problem. Young Master, why are you here?” He hadn’t told her he’d be coming.
Keith’s eyes instantly darkened.
Before coming, he had received a text from Jenna, so he already knew about the house. However, Xavia clearly wasn’t willing to tell him about it… Was it because she felt her interactions with Zivon were not appropriate?
Choosing to not mention that, he said, “It's only natural that I would come pick you up from work. I’ve sent my secretary to pick up the kids, and we’re going to watch a movie tonight.”
This was the third time he brought up watching a movie together, so Xavia could not refuse. Moreover, there was an underlying insistence to Keith’s gentleness that she couldn't resist.
She nodded slowly. “Okay.”
Xavia then turned to Bianca and smiled apologetically. “I’ll head back first, Bianca, we’ll figure something out together tomorrow. Don’t stay up too late, okay? You need to take care of your health.”
“Okay, bye.” Bianca watched Xavia and Keith get into the car, a bit stunned.
Bianca had always had a bad impression of Keith, but just now, he had been so gentle and polite. Even his gaze when he looked at Xavia was sincerely affectionate.
Perhaps it really was true love.
In the car, Keith glanced at Xavia, then asked teasingly, “You didn't notice?”
“Huh?” Xavia finally emerged from her thoughts, and saw a beautiful gift box on the car dashboard. She reached out and opened it, revealing a beautiful necklace with a pink heart-shaped gemstone pendant.
Xavia was shocked. “Is this for me, Young Master Burton? I’m sorry, I can’t accept this.”
“Just wear it. I don’t want others to say that I’m so stingy I never gave my girlfriend something to wear around her neck.”
“But…” Xavia trailed off hesitantly. Keith had given her flowers earlier, and now he was giving her a necklace.
It was all so overwhelming!
“Young Master Burton, I think we should take it easy. I'm not comfortable with such things,” Xavia suggested softly.
