Keith was sitting at his desk in the office, focused on settling the documents in front of him. The documents on his table were piled up high, and it looked like he was about to drown in his work.

To be honest, he found Uncle Zivon’s reaction rather satisfying.

Dismissing the thought, Keith got up and walked over to her as he said gently, “Silly. Is one meal more important than your hand? Do you think I’m really that heartless?”

“No, but… I just feel like I am letting you down. I cannot even cook well for you even though you have helped me so much.” Xavia pursed her lips unhappily, feeling useless.

Keith smiled and placed his hand on her head. “In that case…you should try to fall in love with me.”

Fall in love with him…?

Xavia was startled and looked up at him with wide eyes.
