Pregnant and Favored: See You in the Morning, Young Master novel Chapter 640

…We were even what?! With Zivon’s voice trailing upward, Xavia couldn’t help but wonder if he was going to say that they had a deep relationship! Her palms now sweaty, she quickly interrupted, “We even had a few meals together with my elder sister.”

Following that, Xavia looked Zivon in the eye before saying, “Uncle Zivon, you should know that I treat different people differently. If I truly dislike someone, I find that it’s only right for me to behave wildly and wilfully toward them. Toward those I like, however, I’ll be as gentle and adorable as a kitten. With that said, don’t worry too much about it, Uncle Zivon.”

It was evident that Xavia was saying that she adored Keith and hated him, so Zivon couldn’t help but glare frostily at her. Instantly recognizing that dangerous look, the worried Xavia then got to her feet before adding, “…Either way, you guys continue eating. I’m a little tired today, so I’ll head upstairs first to have a shower…”

“I’m coming along as well, Mommy!” said Yulia.

“Me too!” added Maison, prompting all three of them to leave the area…

Once they had left, Helen was prompted to ask in a surprised tone, “…Did… that child just call her Mommy…?”

“That child was left in her care by her elder brother and sister-in-law. Being the kind woman she is, Xavia ended up acknowledging the child as her own…” explained Keith.

…Was that really the case…? Why did she feel that the child looked really similar to Xavia then…? That aside, if she was trying to enter the Burton family with a child, that woman must be treating the Burtons like an ATM machine!

With that in mind, Helen was prompted to say, “She’s merely taking advantage of you, you know? That aside, I hope you’re aware of how poor your great-grandmother’s condition currently is. Also, while it’s fine if you wish to continue your relationship with her, know that your father and I will never bless your marriage. We’ll talk about this again in half a year.”

After saying that, Helen got up to leave. However, before walking out the door, she made sure to turn around again to take a dish away with her…

Once she was gone, Keith—whose eyes had gone slightly dark—was prompted to look at Zivon before asking, “Do you think I can’t marry Xavia either, Uncle Zivon?”

Raising a slight brow, Zivon simply replied, “That’s none of my business. Either way, I’m going upstairs to get Maison back.”
