Looking back, Xavia was surprised to see Keith running toward them! Why was he here?

Upon seeing Keith, Jenna—who hadn’t expected Keith to find out about her plans—quickly stood before Xavia while asking, “What are you doing here?”

Looking at Xavia and the child in her arms, Keith couldn’t help but display a complicated expression. Following that, he faced Jenna while saying in a low voice, “…You don’t have a right to decide whether she leaves or stays. Mind you, she’s my girlfriend now.”

Keith’s words caused a wave of jealousy to surge in Jenna’s heart. After all, wasn’t he the one who had claimed to love her before this?! To think he’d dare acknowledge Xavia right in front of her!

Now fuming, Jenna glared at Keith as she replied, “I have every right to do so. After all, I’m her sister. That aside, why don’t you ask her whether she’s being forced to leave or if she's doing this on her own accord?”

Jenna’s statement made Keith turn to look at the awkward Xavia who—in turn—quickly lowered her gaze. With the child still in her arms, she gestured for both of them to follow her to a quiet corner…

Once they were there, she gave Keith a serious look before sincerely saying, “…I’m extremely grateful that you saved me back then, Young Master Keith… With that said, I really wish to fulfill my promise so that I don’t owe you any favors… However, things aren’t as simple as they appear. You should also know that I’m not as innocent as you think… Even so, believe me when I say that I’ll definitely repay your kindness once I get a chance to…”

After hearing that, Keith’s eyes momentarily darkened. A while later, he pulled Xavia to his side while saying, “Promises should be kept, so I’d very much prefer you returning my kindness now. As for you, Jenna. Feel free to continue living a good life with Uncle Zivon, but don’t you dare interfere in Xavia and my affairs anymore.”

This made Jenna red with fury. What the hell was with his attitude?! He would’ve never spoken to her in such a tone in the past! Clenching her teeth, Jenna then growled, “…Why…?! Why are you treating me like this out of the blue…?!”

“I just think that it’s high time we ended things between us. Simple as that,” replied Keith in a gentlemanly manner. Even so, anyone would’ve agreed that his words were ruthless…
