After a brief glint in his eyes, Zayne thought of something which prompted him to say, “Something’s happened to Xavia.”

Upon hearing that, Zivon’s eyes momentarily fell, though he eventually turned to face Zayne before asking, “What happened to her?”

Just as Zayne had suspected, only Xavia could attract Zivon’s attention. Shaking the thought off, Zayne then pulled Zivon into the makeshift tent before saying, “You should sit down first. I’ll elaborate while treating your wound…”

Though Zivon was much more cooperative this time, he still couldn’t help but urge, “Hurry up.”

“I’m getting to it…” replied Zayne as he quickly cut Zivon’s white shirt open. Following that, he opened his medical box and began cleaning Zivon’s wounds while saying, “So, essentially, news broke out online that Xavia was disrespectful and unfilial toward her foster mother. As a result, everyone on the internet is condemning her…”

“Aside from that, when I headed to the Lockhart Mansion earlier to meet Maison, I happened to bump into her leaving the Mansion. Since her face was all red and swollen at the time, I’m assuming the Lockharts beat her up…”

When he heard that, Zivon couldn’t help but imagine slap marks on Xavia’s delicate and fair face, causing his gaze to fall even deeper…

Raising a slight brow, Zivon then glared at Zayne as he replied, “Who the hell’s thinking about her? Either way, are you done bandaging yet? If so, you can get lost.”

“Right, right, you never think about her, only I do…” muttered Zayne as he applied a bit more force, allowing the white bandage to firmly wrap around Zivon’s arm…

Following that Zivon got to his feet before leaving the area, not even bothering to look at Zayne on his way out…
