“Maison Burton, come here.”
The man passed by, and the aura that he left behind was also cold.
Xavia thought of how Zivon was punishing the three-year-old by making him make copies of documents and she felt a little worried. “Maison, what’s wrong with your daddy? Don’t go.”
Maison was not flustered at all and he touched his chin. “It’s fine. Maybe he wants to tell me some secret between a father and son. Don’t worry, Aunt. You can go back to the lounge first. I will come back soon.”
Maison then quickly walked in the direction where the man had disappeared off to.
The quiet top floor was as high as the clouds and mist. At one glance, the large Darlsbury was all subjugated below their feet and it looked majestic and spectacular.
The man was standing on the rooftop. His posture was solemn and upright. When the wind blew, the corners of his clothes and hair swayed slightly. It was not messy but it gave people a terrifying feeling.
Maison patted his small chest before he plucked up the courage and calmed himself down. “Daddy, why are you looking for me?”
The man didn’t turn around but his back was simply facing Maison as he said, “You like Stefan Talton? You really want Stefan Talton to marry your aunt?”
He was questioning Maison in a calm and indifferent manner, and he was not angry. However, the calmer he was, the scarier it sounded to the people who were listening to him.
Maison was not afraid of death and said, “That’s right. Isn’t Mommy about to wake up soon? Daddy, since you want to be together with Mommy, then we will be forming a happy family. Aunt will be all alone then. She will be very pitiful. She will be happier if she is together with Uncle Talton.”
How could he actually say such words?
Zivon knit his brows and he was slightly surprised as he asked, “I thought that you hated your mommy and refused to acknowledge her? When have you ever thought that we would form a happy family?”
Maison said, “After struggling for three years, I finally came to recognize the facts. Daddy, as long as you are happy, I will be happy too. It doesn’t matter who I will have to call my mommy.”
Zivon was speechless.
He would be willing to call anyone his mommy? He had changed to become really casual!
Zivon had a sullen expression on his face as he said, “No matter what it is, if I hear you setting Xavia up with Stefan Talton or any other man again, I will make sure that you will not see her for the rest of your life.”
It was a command, and also a threat.
