Stefan was busy with work at the company when he received a phone call from Lily who was clamoring about a stomachache. She insisted that he came home. Stefan put down his briefcase before he went upstairs.

When he saw Lily lying on the bed, he knit his brows tightly together. “Didn’t I arrange for the maids to take care of you at home? You can just instruct them if you need anything.”

Lily shook her head. “No, I don’t want to. The baby might need his father and he’ll be restless if you’re not back.”

Stefan replied, “The baby is not even formed yet. Do you think he will have any emotions?”

Lily’s face tensed up. She had forgotten that Stefan’s parents were medical professors. So how could he not have this basic knowledge?

She didn’t know what she should say.

Stefan walked forward directly and sat down on the chair next to the bed as he said, “Miss Whitham, although I am keeping the child, I don’t have feelings for you. So, I have already thought of it and I came up with three well thought-out solutions for your own good. You should listen to it and make a decision.”

“One. I will take responsibility for this child and I will marry you. However, I will never fall for you. You will only be able to gain the status as Mrs. Talton. Of course, I will not betray our marriage either.”

“Two. You can give birth to the child in secret and leave S City. I will raise the child with all my heart and you can find and get married to someone who truly loves you. I will also help you with any aid and material conditions that you require.”

“Three. If you don’t want to give birth to a child for someone like me, it’s still early and you can abort the baby. Likewise, I will also help you with any aid and material conditions that you require.”
