It was all silent. The lights shone brightly outside the window and the water from the fountain was flowing. The night scenery was extremely beautiful and quiet.

A small figure was sitting next to a big figure on the simple and yet luxurious modern style sofa. The big figure was cold and noble with a very powerful aura, while the small figure was very cool and adorable with a worried expression on his small face.

“Daddy, why isn’t Aunt back yet? Could it be that she had ran into some bad guys on the way?” Maison could not help but speak up. Ever since he started living with Xavia, Maison had become very reliant on Xavia and it also seemed as though he had turned into a little chatterbox.

“Lately there is news about girls being dismembered. Aunt is very beautiful, so I’m positive that she will certainly be targeted by bad people.”

Zivon had never seen his child being so worried about others and talking so much. So he raised his eyebrows and said, “When have you ever shown so much concern for your daddy?”

Maison said coldly, “You can even kill ten wolves on your own, so what’s there for me to be concerned about? Daddy, do you want to call her? If you don’t call her, I will start crying out of worry.” The consequences of him crying would be very serious.

Zivon raised his brows. This little brat. He was actually threatening him because of that woman! Was he really his biological son or that woman’s?

Zivon had a cold expression on his face as he gazed nobly at Nathan, who was at a corner, and instructed him to make the call.

Nathan received the order and he took out his cell phone as he was about to make the call.

“Ding dong~” The doorbell rang.

Nathan walked over to open the door and he was slightly startled when he saw the woman standing outside the door. “Miss Lockhart, the little master was just worried about you. He wanted us to call you.”

As soon as Maison heard that Xavia was back, he immediately ran over from the sofa, “Aunt, you’re back…”

Before he could even finish his sentence, the expression on his small face changed as he said, “It’s not Aunt.”

Not Xavia? Then this was Jenna!

Nathan felt very embarrassed. He bowed his head and apologized, “I’m sorry, future young mistress. It’s true that you really do look exactly the same like your younger sister, Miss Lockhart. So that is the reason why I recognized the wrong person. I’m really sorry.”
