Raising a slight brow, Zivon replied, “It’s not like you can still wear your old clothes now. Also, allow me to remind you that I gave them away instead of throwing them.”
…Damn it, he had a point…
Gently patting her head, Zivon then said, “Alright, go pick out a dress that you like. Your friends and family are coming over to celebrate your return in a bit. You can use that chance to let them have a better look at Frank and Fabiola.”
“…Don’t you think you’re spoiling me a bit too much…?”
“So what if I am?”
“…You’re going to make it increasingly difficult for me to leave, you know? With how much you’ve pampered me and everything, it’ll be impossible for me to find another man half as caring as you are…”
Raising a slight brow, Zivon replied, “…And that’s not good?”
“…I mean, when you put it that way… I guess it is. Love you!”
Watching as she kissed his cheek before running off to pick some new clothes, Zivon couldn’t help but smile. If it was true that these tiny gestures alone were enough to keep her around, then it was truly an effort worth making…
Fast forward to about ten past five that evening, the Frankstons arrived at the flat at the same time, and so did Chace and Bianca. Even though they had all seen the babies before, they still came with tiny gifts.
