On the third week, she was brought to a chalet that was surrounded by a bamboo forest. With every gentle gust of wind, the bamboo swayed gracefully, and when the leaves fell, the scenery looked straight out from an ancient painting…

The second floor was even more breathtaking since it was positioned slightly higher than the rest of the bamboo, and with all the fresh air up here, it felt heaven-like, especially during these hot summer months.

Regardless, throughout their stay, Zivon took the time to teach her how to oil paint, and even helped her gain some interest in classical poems. It was a truly enjoyable time for her, and Xavia couldn’t help but occasionally wonder how she came across such a wonderful husband…

Though the month after childbirth was usually a painful one, Xavia’s bedrest ended in comfort and in no time flat. Taking one final deep breath of fresh air, the smiling woman couldn’t help but exclaim, “Finally…! I can finally have a steamboat again!”

Chuckling when he heard her childish comment, Zivon then shook his head before saying, “Calm down, let’s head home first…”

“Yeah! And once we’re home, I'll dress up properly and go shopping with Jennie and Bianca!” replied Xavia who had been yearning to eat delicious food again and enjoy shopping sprees for a while now.

Either way, upon arriving home, she was left pleasantly surprised once more. After all, countless flowers and balloons had been strewn across the yard all the way to the main door, and there was even a large banner that wrote, ‘Welcome home, Xav! Congratulations on completing your bed rest!’

Looking at how bewildered his wife looked, Zivon couldn’t help but smile as he said, “I thought that this much was proper after all the pain you’ve been through. I’ve prepared some small gifts too, so head on in to have a look.”
