“But I’d still like to thank you. I appreciate your thoughtful consideration of my feelings. You’ve given me love and the feeling of being loved. You’ve treated me like a queen during my confinement. I felt that giving birth, confinement, and a C-Section operation are not that painful. Instead, every action I did was worthwhile. Zivon, it’s nice to have you around.”
Xavia spoke in an innocent and pious tone.
Something gleamed in Zivon’s dark eyes, as if the stars were adorning the night sky.
‘Clearly, I’m the one who is indebted to her, and yet she claims to be the lucky one. What a silly girl!’
“I won’t let you live a hard life in the future.” He made a promise to her. Then, he quietly told himself that he would provide her with the best of everything.
…
Zivon’s days were super busy compared to Xavia. He had to take care of the newborn twins and prepare Xavia’s meals at the same time. He had turned into a super dad. His professionalism was comparable to that of a typical chef and the midwife.
Jenna knew Zivon always treated her sister differently, but she was still astounded when she saw the all-powerful man in the business world had transformed into a family cook. Even more astonishing was how natural he appeared when doing all of that. He truly excelled in those areas!
It turned out that this man wasn’t someone high and mighty. He just had no interest in anyone else. Zivon knew how to treat others gently, but he only reserved his gentleness for that special someone. He could love a woman affectionately, and his love could grow deeper and more excellent than everyone else’s.
Where else could they find a man like him, a man who showed no interest in others but was willing to give everything up for someone he fell in love with?
It was jaw-dropping for Nathan.
‘I’ve worked with Zivon for years. I’ve witnessed his gentleness, compromise, and how he yielded when he got together with Xavia. I never expected him to compromise to the level of being a midwife, stay at home to nurse the babies, and cook confinement meals with peace of mind! This is amazing… Is he still the same man I know?’
“Mr. Miller? Mr. Miller!” A voice came from the phone.
