He had a leverage over her now?
This was quite interesting.
Xavia didn’t pay any attention to the smile on the corner of the man’s lips. She looked at the wolfhound with a fierce gaze, not daring to move as she sat on the very edge of the car from the beginning to the end.
She got out of the car as soon as they arrived at the villa.
Nathan asked, “Young Master, should I send Blackie back or…”
“Of course, you have to send it back!” Xavia replied first.
It was such a large and fierce dog. It had to be sent back!
“Woof!” Blackie barked when it saw that Xavia seemed to despise it. It jumped out of the car and ran over to Zivon as it rubbed itself against Zivon’s legs and wagged its tail. It seemed as though it was saying in a pitiful manner, “Master, don’t chase me away.”
This damn dog! It actually knew how to act spoiled!
Xavia expressed contempt for it from the bottom of her heart.
Zivon rubbed Blackie’s head. “You have to be obedient if you stay here.”
“Woof! Woof!” Blackie barked twice happily.
Xavia asked, “Why do you want to keep it here? There are two children and me at home. We are all scared.”
Zivon raised his brows. “It will be easy for me to find a certain person if she disappears again next time.”
Cough! Cough! Cough!
So, it was this big, black and furry thing that found her!
That was even more annoying!
Xavia turned around and walked into the villa in a huff. After going upstairs, she realized that Maison and Yulia were not home, so she asked curiously, “Where are the children?”
Zivon glanced at her coldly. “Do you think that I will let the children see you acting so irresponsibly?”
He was pointing out the fact that she disregarded the children and simply ran away from home.
Xavia pursed her lips.
She was just too angry at that time and she wanted to find a quiet place to vent. It was all thanks to him!
She really felt like stepping on him again, but when she saw the big black dog looking at her, she said in a meek voice, “You’re not going to let the dog follow you around the whole time, right? I think you better take good care of it. I don’t think you would want the news of me getting bitten by a dog making it to the news, would you?”
“Besides, I’m going to change my clothes now. It is a male dog, so it cannot follow me into the bedroom, right?”
Her words were seemingly fierce but in actual fact, she was actually very scared of Blackie.
Zivon stared at her for a while before he said, “I can make sure that Blackie doesn’t go into the room, but you have to meet the following conditions first.”
What? What?!
There were still conditions?
Xavia had a headache.
Ten minutes later, in the study room.
The detailed rules were listed down on a piece of A4 paper.
[First: The woman will willingly and voluntarily replace Jenna to play the role of Mrs. Burton before Jenna wakes up.]
[Second: No desertion or leakage of information.]
[Third: The man will determine when it is time to put the act to an end.]
[Fourth: Not allowed to have any intimate actions or inappropriate relationships with any other man.]
If any of the above conditions are violated, then she would be thrown and fed to Blackie.
The words were written in black and white and it was clear and unambiguous.
The final punishment was simply cruel and merciless.
“Woof! Woof!” But Blackie simply had to be staring at Xavia with its bright eyes as it barked twice at Xavia, as if it was very satisfied with its food.
Xavia was speechless.
With Zivon’s cold and ruthless personality, he would certainly do what he said he would.
With his identity, he would be able to easily make someone like her with no background disappear from this world completely.
But in fact, the Lockhart family has already concluded that she was the murderer who tried to kill Jenna. So if Xavia were to retreat or escape, then in their eyes, she would only be absconding because she was afraid after committing the crime.
Xavia had no choice.
She was just releasing her discontentment and grievances by leaving a letter stating that she was leaving today.
