“Hah! Who’s to say?” replied Keith with a chuckle as he walked off.
Zivon was already in a foul mood because of Keith, but when he realized how widely Xavia was smiling as she waved goodbye at him, he couldn’t help but clench his fists. After all, ever since she returned, she hadn’t even shown him such a big smile!
Now even angrier than before, he wheeled himself into the ward before saying, “So, rather than accompany your husband, you preferred having fun with another man in my ward, huh…?”
Still failing to realize his sarcasm, she was quick to reply, “Yeah, I enjoyed my time with him. Actually, he said he was your cousin, so… Could I please have his WhatsApp number? You know, so that I can ask him for help again the next time I get stuck in my game.”
“…Must I remind you that you’re not only married, but pregnant with my child, Xavia…?!” growled Zivon.
This time, Xavia finally realized how mad he was, and she couldn’t help but reply, “…I mean, I’m literally just asking for his number for the sake of the game… What’s wrong with that?”
Her innocent question made it seem like he was the one who was overreacting, and that only served to piss Zivon off even more! Not wanting to accidentally lash out, he was quick to growl, “…Playing too many games is bad for your eyes, so just stop playing!”
Just as he was about to grab the phone out of her hands, she moved her hand away while replying, “Hey, it’s boring as hell in here, and this is the only way I can pass the time without going insane! You can’t take this away from me too!”
Pulling her into his arms, Zivon then said, “If you’re that bored, then let’s do some interesting adult actions instead…!”
Instantly going red, it took Xavia a moment to grumble, “T-there you go again! I hate this!”
Before Zivon could reply, she had already bolted off with her phone… and just like that, Zivon felt an extremely bitter feeling in his heart. So, telling him to be more like Keith wasn’t enough? She had to actively distance herself from him as well?!
