“Be a good person.”
…Typical of that man of few words to only leave her four words, yet… oddly enough, that was enough for her. After all, knowing him, he wouldn’t even have thought about her in the past… Yet here he was now. Telling Ian to pass her one final message… This was his way of saying that he still had expectations for her!
With that in mind, she ultimately nodded before saying, “…Thank you. Please tell him that I’ll be turning into a new leaf as well!”
Before Ian could even reply, the car suddenly stopped in front of a bus stop. This was her stop. Basically, Ian wanted her to experience what Xavia had in the past. After all, public buses like these were usually filled with old people, individuals who smelled of cigarette smoke, and also wailing children…
In the past, Jenna would’ve preferred to die rather than ride such a lowly vehicle. After all, she had spent her childhood as a pampered little girl with the Lockharts, which meant that she never had to experience such terrible environments. Alas, all that privilege had gotten to her head back then, causing her to ultimately go down the wrong path… How laughable… Shaking her head, she then got into the vehicle… and shortly after, the bus began driving off.
As she was wondering how her future would go, her train of thought was cut short when the vehicle suddenly jolted forward! Looking out the window, she saw a truck speeding past the bus… and from the looks of it, the driver had lost control of the bus! Eyes widening when she witnessed the vehicle starting to plunge down the cliff, Jenna couldn’t help but clench her fists. Was this seriously going to be how she died…?!
It didn’t take long for the incident to be broadcast on the news, and apparently it was serious enough that it interrupted the show that Xavia was watching with Zivon back in the therapy room.
